However we concluded that this was an inefficient way of spending funds given the cost of assisting each person - so we started identifying ways in which our resources could be deployed to far greater effect.
We have advised the Big Hills Project on constructing and maintaining a new school in Nepal and we are working with Bullers Wood School on a similar project.

The Mountain Trust began by building schools, classroom blocks, orphanages, community centres, child care centres etc. We provided classroom funtiture, uniforms and teaching & sports equipment.
