Sharing Ideas & Networking

The Mountain Trust is proud to belong the to Cambridge-based Humanitarian Centre. This off-shoot of the university is a hot bed of new ideas and brings together NGOs in and around Cambridge who work in International Development.

Besides a wealth of advice on developing the Mountain Trust and providing us with fora through the Cambridge International Development Course and other media, the HC have obtained valuable advice on radio teaching from Alan Court (Director of Programmes, Unicef) and enabled us to recruit a good many Volunteers and Interns - as well as help facilitate our construction of ties academic and medical between these communities in Cambridge and in Pokhara, Nepal.
